Privacy Policy
Agent AFK is built privacy-first. We collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and the parts of the site that could track you are off by default. This page explains exactly what is collected, why, who processes it, and how you stay in control.
Agent AFK is operated by Graisol. In this policy “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of agentafk.com. If you have any question about this policy or your data, email us at griffin@graisol.com.
What we collect
Waitlist email
If you join the waitlist, we store the email address you submit, along with a non-personal tag noting which part of the site you signed up from. We use it to let you know when Agent AFK is available and to send occasional product updates. Submitting the form is your request to be contacted; you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Usage analytics — opt-in only
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited so we can improve the site. It is disabled by default. No analytics load until you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Vercel Analytics is privacy-oriented and does not use cross-site tracking cookies; the data it gathers is governed by Vercel’s privacy practices. You can withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, which stops analytics and lets you choose again.
Abuse prevention
To protect the waitlist form from spam and abuse, we briefly count requests by IP address using a rate limiter. This is processed transiently for security purposes and automatically discarded within about a minute — it is never stored alongside your email or used to identify you.
The settings generator
The settings generator runs entirely in your browser. The values you type — including any API keys — never leave your device and are never sent to us. That page is locked down with a strict content-security policy that blocks outbound connections, and analytics are disabled on it regardless of your consent choice.
Public counters
The GitHub star and npm download counts shown on the site are fetched server-side from public APIs and involve no personal data about you.
Cookies & local storage
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We store a single value in your browser’s localStorage — your cookie-consent choice (“accepted” or “declined”) — so the banner doesn’t ask again. It stays on your device until you clear it or reset it from the footer. If you accept analytics, Vercel may use first-party storage solely to measure page views.
Who processes your data
We rely on a small set of trusted service providers, and only for the purposes above:
- Vercel — website hosting and, with your consent, usage analytics.
- Neon — the database that stores waitlist email addresses.
- Resend — sends the waitlist confirmation and update emails.
- Upstash — the short-lived rate-limit counter used for abuse prevention.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist email: retained until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed.
- Rate-limit data: expires automatically within about a minute.
- Consent choice: kept in your own browser until you clear or reset it.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the email we hold for you, and you can withdraw analytics consent at any time. We honor these requests regardless of where you live. To make a request, email griffin@graisol.com and we’ll take care of it.
Children
Agent AFK is a developer tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
International processing
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the site or joining the waitlist, you understand your information may be processed in those locations.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, note it in our changelog.
